In 2001, Peter O'Faherty and his wife, Melissa, went home to Dublin and founded DoubleO Design, a company that specializes in design branding for corporate clients in Ireland and the United States. After experiencing some very positive growth, DoubleO Publishing Services was established as the educational publishing division of DoubleO Design.

With Peter’s extensive design and production experience in educational publishing, DoubleO Publishing Services secured several projects. In 2003, Emma Ardiff and Frank Flores joined DoubleO, as the company expanded its services to project management and editorial development in Spanish. For the next several years, DoubleO earned the reputation as one of the most trusted developers in the business.

In 2007, the company established an English editorial department, and brought in Carol Naczas to head up the company’s design department.
